Of the words in English most in need of spelling reform, I can think of few more deserving than naval terminology.

I do see bosun ("boatswain") and gunnel ("gunwale") commonly enough these days, but fo'ksil (forecastle) is still a complete mess.

Per the jan misali proposal for spelling reform; just write words however, and be chill about it.

@starkatt I'm quite amused by the fact that, despite naming categories after things, none of the things named are given as examples of the categories. And pie ends up in at least four different ones.
