I finished the main plot of Skyrim. It's not a bad game but as someone who absolutely loved Morrowind I'm left disappointed.

Morrowind was shocking in its size and depth but part of what made it shocking was there was carefully designed stuff in every corner. Skyrim felt very... procedural and empty in comparison.

I also felt like I had absolutely no consequences for my actions. I considered that "You killed a critical NPC" warning people meme on from Morrowind to be a plus, TBH :P

@trysdyn There was just something about Morrowind, that Oblivion and Skyrim didn't really live up to.

We played Skyrim first, then went back and played the others, and I can tell you it's not just nostalgia; Morrowind is definitely the best of the three we've played by a long shot, despite its janky engine
