Look.

World caused me a lot of frustration, but I clocked hundreds of hours in it anyway.

On paper the only thing I shouldn't like about this is that the weapons are stupidly large.

So I went back and got Rise again.

Turns out, dialing graphics settings down from their default and having Kae over my shoulder while fucking with the controls does a lot.

A lot of the input eating seems a mix of graphics being too high for my old comp and just the worst possibly combos by default

Went and bopped a Baggi, honestly was the most fun I'd had since Vaal Hazak from World.

The new riding mechanics seem good, FAR better than the mounting at least, but the UI for it seems really counter intuitive?

Also holy shit game, you need to stop giving me a paragraph of tutorial text that pauses the game in the middle of a fight. I have ADHD. That shit is NOT going to stick.

There are things Japanese game dev studios fucking HATE WITH A PASSION:

1: body shapes that are not like, very thin or gymrat muscled.
2: accessablity, especially visual.

Was watching the latest smash tournament that the Game&watch player picked teal, which is a colour that is present in the background of most of the stages.

That shit blends in so badly, all they needed to do was give him a black border instead of white but nope. His ranged attacks just disappear into the scenery.

@Felthry 100% intentional choice by Maistro and I will hear no argument.
