so, what time signature is c64 tetris even in?
we listened to it and realized parts of it sound clearly 4/4 while other parts sound clearly 10/8 but there's nowhere that it seems like it actually changes time signatures

is it a polyrhythm?? -F
I found a video of it - this song has haunted me for a while, so just being reminded of it and finding it again was really nice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ny743c32gPg
The switch from 4/4 to 5/4 happens around 9:30 in. It's a very smooth transition.
I don't know if I can manage the time to go through it and find out.
@Tathar others have answered for us! it's well worth a listen though if you want to listen to it while working on something sometime

I probably would have gone so far to put together an ABC file with rendered sheet music and MIDI playback, but 25+ minutes is a lot.
@Tathar ahah, i'd just recommend listening to it

@Felthry I think it just changes time signature? I tried counting/snapping our fingers/waving our hand like a conductor throughout, and it definitely goes from 4/4 parts to 5/4 and 10/8 parts and back at specific points
it's very cool - we wouldn't mind seeing sheet music for it
