At this point, I may have to think about shutting down my home server. I'm not sure I can afford the 150W of electricity it draws 24/7.

@terrana Would it be practical to replace with a Raspberry Pi? Those draw at most 5 watts.

@bj I'd need to rig something up for storage. It's a file server among other things. But yes, worth considering.

@terrana Depending on your needs, you might be able to just stick a big SD card into it (512 gigs or the like) and make the whole file server self-contained.

@bj Well, turns out that RPis are impossible to get at any reasonable price at the moment.

@terrana @bj Well that's unfortunate. Do any of their competitors still exist? The beaglebone perhaps?
