I'm only laughing because the store isn't pressing charges.
Considering the gummy bear in question is reportedly 9 million on the scoville scale, I think that's entirely fair on the store's part.

@Felthry Right? Like, okay, I know it's bad form to laugh at someone else's pain? But like... When you fuck around and find out on that short of a timetable, what else am I supposed to do?

@LexYeen (note that there's a difference here between an unpleasant experience and a traumatic one--it's entirely possible to be completely physically unharmed but still have a traumatic experience. but i would be very surprised if eating an incredibly spicy gummy bear would be traumatic)
