@DarkOverord the first family pc our parents had had a 1 gb hard drive and in like 2002ish our parents had to clear out a ton of space because we got a harry potter video game for christmas or birthday or something that needed 500 MB of space to install

@DarkOverord we were thinking more about the more recent thing where SD cards bigger than a gigabyte were rare, though! like, the SD standard as a whole didn't support anything larger than 4 GB until SDHC, and you'd have a 32 MB card in your camera

@Felthry And now there are microSD cards that are larger than the HDD I store art on and that just makes me sometimes want to lie down

i know the wii couldn't use anything larger than 4 gb though

@Felthry I *might* have been muddling my consoles now you mention it XD
@Felthry @DarkOverord yeah i think the 3ds was fine with larger cards, though i do think some DS flash cards had limitations
but i have a 2GB card that stays inside the wii at all times unless its in the wii u for ripping games using that instead
