meta, qoto, "right" to federate
That "Federation" Constitution being done in LaTex feels like a Rick & Morty-esque bid to make the whole venture look techy and smart, or at best a deliberate choice to place typesetting above ease of contribution; I don't like it.
Also instance admins needs to get this idea out of their head Yesterday that they have a right to have their posts carried everywhere unless they violate some covenant. No such covenant exists.
This isn't a platform like Twitter. This is a group of communities that choose to sometimes talk to each other. To date 'sometimes' translates to 'almost always' but that is changing and will continue to change. It took vee awhile to get that, myself.
Also also even if this was a good idea (and I don't think it is), qoto and fosstodon aren't the ones who should be driving it.
Hard pass from top to bottom.

@trysdyn It's basically the first known case of https://xkcd.com/1301/ being used intentionally, i suspect

Awoo.space is a Mastodon instance where members can rely on a team of moderators to help resolve conflict, and limits federation with other instances using a specific access list to minimize abuse.
