The more I read about Discord's new font, the less impressed I am.
Their Kana support is limited to the glyphs needed for /tableflip, for example. Or so I've read.
Its kerning is all messed up; I've seen complaints from people with dyslexia and astigmatism. It aliases weird to my eyes too.
But a tier down from all that: Discord is the only thing on my *nix box that mandates its own font so it stands out like a sore thumb in my sea of Vera and Hack. :/
@Felthry My theory is since the rise of Apple, the idea that an app's UI/UX is part of its branding and corps should control that too has grown.
