@tabitha@chitter.xyz piranha solution is fascinating stuff, eats away almost anything organic
it's a mixture of sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide (much more concentrated--and much more dangerous--H₂O₂ than you can get at the drugstore), which when mixed form an equilibrium with one of the strongest known oxidizers (and also a very strong acid), Caro's acid
it's used occasionally to clean really stubborn gunk off of glassware in chemistry labs because sulfuric acid and concentrated H₂O₂ are both fairly common things to have around in those anyway
