A lot of my mode 7 related code has "mode 7" in the names and sometimes I'll write a 6 by mistake, and then find that funny because the chance of me using mode 6 anywhere in my game is pretty slim unless I do it as a joke.
For context it's a combination of two niche features that were already uncommon on their own (high resolution, and a specific kind of scrolling effect), and out of the entire licensed library I'm pretty sure it only got used by carts made to test all hardware.
@NovaSquirrel I'd guess you mostly use modes 2 or 3?

@Felthry I'd say most SNES games only have a reason to use 1 (which is basically the default) and then maybe 7 for some effects, and mine probably won't be too different
