I beat Chrono Trigger tonight! I had a whole lot of fun and I loved the story a lot. Robo's my favorite character and I used Robo, Crono and Frog for the final battles.
In the future I really want to try other SNES RPG! And I feel even more inspired to try and put a good story in Nova the Squirrel 2 if I can pull it off.
@NovaSquirrel the snes had a lot of good rpgs! you're starting on a high point with chrono trigger too, though, so don't expect them all to be as good (but there *are* equally good or better ones out there)

@NovaSquirrel thinking about the great rpgs we've played, and most of the ones that come to mind to recommend are actually on psx
though on snes i would recommend terranigma, earthbound, super mario rpg, and final fantasies 4 and 6 (2 and 3), not necessarily in that order

That's ok, I'm sure there's lots of cool stuff to be seen as I explore other games.
