FA drama
I've noticed a lot of folks have left FA over the recent drama. Some because FA are unfair and unclear, some because they're too strict, and others because they're not strict enough.
As far as I understand, they didn't actually change the rules, did they? These are all clarifications of rules that have been in place and enforced for years. It's only now that people really understand how it's been all along. There was a kerfuffle years ago when they started this, too.

@relee they're saying that, but it's unclear just how much of that is true. a lot of people feel like they're being gaslit by the claims that the rules have been there all along
they're definitely needlessly nonspecific, and some of the stuff we've seen where people share their conversations with staff about it are... well it doesn't seem like the staff understand the rule either

@Felthry Yeah. I've known folks who were FA mods and I don't know any who are mods right now, but I don't think people are just making things up or assuming the worst when they talk about mods picking and choosing who to punish or ban, rather than having strict, clear rules.
It's not a great site but it's like Twitter. Folks aren't there because it's the best art site. It's where the people are.
