Tales of the Abyss teaches one lesson above all else: You are defined by what you do with your life, not by your origin.

I do love the Tales series. It's retained the quality writing that made JRPGs great in the first place where series like Final Fantasy have lost it, and battles are actually fun on top of that.

Not much comment on the music itself today, it seems. It's one (well, two) of my favorite pieces from the series, but my brain isn't working well enough to really put together why I like it so much right now.

Also, yes, BUMP OF CHICKEN is the name of the band that performed the music (Karma in particular; Meaning of Birth is MIDI).

I'm not sure what the origin of the name is.
