@Felthry It *was*. Extended phone battery upgrade that went funky a little while ago, just now it started sizzling in the box so I quickly moved it outside where it's less flammable. I contacted customer support like "yo is my phone supposed to do this"

@VoxSomniator welllll, it'll probably still sooort of act like a battery? at least until the magic smoke escapes

@Felthry The worst part is, I can't even wedge it into the phone case any more! Never mind the loud fuming, I'm sure it's supposed to sound like bees

@VoxSomniator That does look like a very large phone battery anyway, even if it wasn't bulging

@Felthry It's like 3.5 times the capacity of the standard battery! It was really fantastic up until this happened, probably gonna try and find a replacement, maybe a better-manufactured one :B

@Felthry Comes with a bigger case. Turns the thin phone into a brick. I kinda like it, makes it feel more solid!

@VoxSomniator personally, I use an otterbox because i am paranoid about damaging the phone, and i carry around a 13 Ah usb battery pack
