How many games besides Metal Gear Solid ever actually used the Dualshock 2's analog face buttons anyway?
That still strikes me as an odd thing to put time and effort into designing into your controller.
@efi I suppose as someone who really mostly just plays RPGs I never came across those!
@Felthry yeah, you could set how many missiles to launch based on pressure and also releasing slowly would cancel instead of launching!!

@Felthry many games did! specially fighting games, with more or less success
they'd differentiate attacks between strong and weak based on the analog input
even ZOE2 did this iirc!!
