And if you really love the environment and take the climate crisis and water safety seriously, kill your lawn.

I had a delicious and affirming conversation today with someone who understands that we have to stop viewing every tree as a good tree and that plunking down trees in places that should be covered with grasses and other native plant species is reckless and harmful to already devastated ecosystems.

It’s so rare to find people who get it.
