It takes a special kind of psychopath to feed off of other people's misery when their only sin is falling short of your moral purity test. Those very purity tests, I must point out, that you constantly fall short of yourself.

The sad part is that I used to know people who were a lot kinder and a lot more warmer in personality before they hopped to Monads, and slowly they start to grow cold and bitter, constantly lashing out at people.
People often underestimate how much their environment affects how they think and act. Being around toxic people will invariably make you toxic yourself.

Before anyone goes "ACKSHULLY!" at me, you're wrong. I've experienced this before, I was that person who grew toxic after having been around shitty people, and I had to learn the hard way that I need to pay attention to my social surroundings, otherwise their bad habits will rub off on me.
If you think that won't happen to you, just remember, you're not immune to propaganda.

@FreyaManibrandr Yeah :c I used to be a pretty shit person when I was surrounded by a lot of like... 4channy type folks when I was a younger adult. Luckily I had enough self awareness to notice what it was doing to me and started to hang out with people that were were more genuine and kind rather than irony poisoned. I don't think I would ever want to be surrounded by people that are intentionally mean all the time regardless of their motivations.
