It really is telling of the whiteness of the person if the phantom menace of "cancel culture" is invoked whenever they are taken to task for something they did/enabled.
1st off, you do this cancel shit to untokenable marginalized folk all the goddamn time. Like the times my GF and I get demonized in leftist spaces for talking about the problem with whiteness. Or when seattle postfurries tried to silence me when I spoke up about how their actions fucked my GF out of medical insurance.

Secondly, as someone who had been "cancelled" multiple times and deplatformed as retaliation against me speaking on toxic whiteness and abusive groups and their dynamics. It's not the worst thing to happen in the world, get over it, you privileged bougies. You are not entitled to an audience or a platform, and acting like it is is very much white privilege.
Instance owners who can't handle the responsibility of taking criticism from the marginalized should not be instance owners.
