In a way, the reason I am so cavalier about calling him out is because he reminds me so much of myself back when I used to be a Gamergate shithead, doing the same beating my hispanic identity into people's faces thing as a pretext to being aggressively toxic.
This is why the Gamergate comparison is apt, and I stand by it. The question now is, what will it take for him to grow out of it?

You're not the only one hurting, everytime your actions get brought up, I get reminded of the friends I had on the Fedi, on Snouts, on PV who had been harassed off by you and your goons. You probably don't care how much it hurts us, and you probably never will.

That's also why it affects me so much, it reminds me so much of the toxic bs I once was a part of. I see my past self in all of the guilty parties involved, and it distresses me that they would double down so much when they should have known better.
