manager dude walks over and says "excuse me" and i think, okay, they're maybe gonna hassle me because they think i stole something or whatever or maybe compliment me on my outfit

i recoil in fear, and too shocked to say anything else, respond with "y... yes"
he says "someone was at this store trying to contact you, you fit the description she left us"
so i told him that's my evil ass mom and she's stalking me
and he was like "oh... okay"
