I generally figure I don't know how to promote my stuff reliably. So I don't make it with the expectation it will get heard or seen. Occasionally, maybe one time in fifty, it does, and that's wonderful.

I could also just try to learn to promote stuff.

A week after its release, someone asked how "Party Time" was doing. I said, not bad, forty views maybe? And they were surprised, and that's the part that always cuts me. Stop expecting stuff! At least without offering suggestions!
