Stop using Adobe products, or any software that is sold to you as a subscription.

Software as a Service is an anti-consumer cancer, and it's only a matter of time before corporations will normalize this and abuse the power imbalance dynamic created to control your ability do do things on your own PC.

@FreyaManibrandr It makes it difficult when it's announced that the next major version of software you bought is turning into subscriptionware...

@SweetAIBelle One of the reasons I basically told Celsys to get fucked and migrated to Krita. As an early adopter of Clip Studio Paint, their recent announcement was a betrayal.

@FreyaManibrandr Trouble is that Krita's vector support doesn't really seem to be where I want it to be. Think I'm going to have to go back to Paint Tool SAI. Which I do still own a key for, at least...

@FreyaManibrandr Yeah. I moved to CSP because it had more features, but I can try to get used to it again.

I wanted to like Krita, but I started trying to do vector lines in it, and discovered I couldn't vary the line width on a point by point basis, which is a bit of an issue for me. Hopefully that'll be added in the future...

@FreyaManibrandr it's already here, there's plenty of computers where you can't even do basic things because of them being roped off
