discovering that chromescast ultra come with a power brick with built-in Ethernet jack (on the power adapter body! down where your power board and Ethernet likely is already!) is making me angry that nobody else is building a general purpose USB PD charger like that
like there are “docks” yes but they’re bulky, expensive and often have a second box which contains the power stuff, I’m talking a wall wart with laptop-class PD out, and a downstream Ethernet and maybe a couple USB ports, to chuck behind the couch
