the amount of available spaces on the tiers on the bubsy Kickstarter seem... optimistic, at best
admittedly, "bit trip runner with all your favourite bubsy characters " is probably an easier sell than "giana sisters twisted dreams with all(?)* your favourite bubsy characters "
but still a harder sell than the games the developers reskinned, except for the irony potential

one more about the bubsy kickstarter
one other thing that's really interesting to me is how much reliance there is on selling copies of bit trip runner as part of the later tiers
i don't think i've seen that before in other video game kickstarters
like, the psychonauts 2 crowdfunding, sure that included a copy of psychonauts 1, but it didn't have tiers where you could get stacking or iron brigade

@Dex The closest I’ve seen to this is Humble Bundle or oddly specific Steam or GoG sales. It’s really weird to see a KS include rewards from an otherwise-completely-unrelated series and developer.
I think I want to call this a cereal box promotion for the new game.
