@chr The creepiest thing about tracking are the identifiers that are less obvious. Like having Google+ suggest my personal profile as “someone you may know” to my family, because of some combination of scraping, geolocation, and device login.
Which is more or less why I’ve fled those platforms.
@chr I do not understand why they want to mingle these data streams, when “I am a dragon on the internet” and “I prefer siloing off work from my personal time” are not mutually exclusive profiles. They even give better results when catered to separately.
