The new remake of Link's Awakening is interesting. I don’t have a huge feeling of need to revisit a game I spent hours in as a kid, but I’m curious about what changes were made, and the art style is very twee.

It looks like it’s a faithful update to the original quirky game, with some of the rougher gameplay mechanics tweaked and updated for modern sensibilities, and it makes me excited for people to experience the game for the first time.

@roguecnidarian They also patched over a few of the sequence breaks and lost-forevers, and the new chamber dungeon system is very nice.

You can also completely fill in Totakeke in the filename box now to get his special song in the West, which is a nice touch.
