I was casually looking at my phone this morning, and realized the Google Authenticator user logo is a perfect illustration for my form of colorblindness.

While I'm lumped into the general "red-green" colorblind category, it represents as a weakness in red receptors for me (that is, colors differentiated by red). The lack of resolution means I see subtle deviations as just a flat splotch of the same color.

So this morning I went "wait, is that purple and slight orange and I never noticed"?

As the saying goes: feeling cute, might delete later.

(Finally stopped procrastinating enough to finish my custom. Model by me, wings by Zephyxus and Morghus.)

I ended up making a completely new avatar from scratch for Furality Aqua (based on an adopt I got over a year ago), and it felt pretty good tbh. My prior attempts were a bit awkward, but this one came out great.

Revision 2 of the pad, which supports doubles, is coming along well.

It's smaller than a regulation pad on the edges, but should be super comfy for exercise once we connect it up.

Pad is closed up for now. There are changes we'll make in revision 2 to make this wire together better, but it works!

So after using through our old hard pads and being constantly frustrated at nothing being available, we decided to build our own from this guide: https://youtu.be/y6wGYLE0YI4

Turns out this thing is way easier than expected once we got the materials assembled. Each sensor converts physical force into electrical resistance, and each analog channel reads that in and converts it to button presses at a given threshold.

And it works! Next is finish wiring and close it up.

Update: I finished my run of this successfully, and in celebration, named my Dodrio main "The Dekis" after @Vyzie

Found a juvenile tiger moth nosing around outside, in a relatively safe spot away from birds and other wildlife. They are incredibly fuzzy.

2020 is a hell year, but at least I can play as a synth in OoT.
