Vague gameplay format is three stages:

1. Opening level
2. Select one robot master stage from the original 8 (maybe some guest appearances?)
3. Score attack round

No Vile, Sigma, or Zero cutscenes. All of it is distilled to gameplay.

...

I guess the closest to that for real would be to just play 30XX's daily seed? Not quite the same format, but it's close enough I think.

My sleepy brain decided to invent an arcade cabinet that does not exist: Mega Man X Tournament Edition.

In the dream, I two credit cleared it on its very hard setting, and it proceeded to make the Steam Deck achievement jingle. Which is also weird, because MAME cabinets running on Steam Deck hardware would also be neat.

I uh. Also apparently botched my name as "Golkdkin" on the leaderboard because the (dream) arcade was closing at 9PM for the night. I guess I don't need to worry about that.

oddly-specific cool thing, marker blending and color theory 

Several years ago, I tried an experiment with blending Copic marker refill kits using a CYMK setup, to see if I could synthesize any color I needed. It almost worked, but two of the colors blended poorly and were mostly hydrophobic to one another.

At the time, I at-Copiced the experiment on birdsite. They reshared the idea and seemed vaguely interested, but it didn't go much beyond that.

Well. Someone internally seems to have taken the idea and made official Copic kits around it now, which is super exciting, especially if it was because of an experiment and a few dumb tweets.

Looks like they built two blending kits that succeeded:

1. Pale Celestine (B0000) for Cyan, Yellow Flourite (Y0000) for Yellow, Pale Pink (RV10) for Magenta, and two key colors up or down (Colorless Blender 0 and Neutral Gray N1).

2. Two flavors of each of Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta: Frost Blue + Tahilian Blue (B00 and B04), Lemon Yellow + Napoli Yellow (Y13 + Y19), Bougainvillaea + Strong Red (R43 + R46), without key.

Even though it's coming from an otherwise faceless corporation, it's cool that someone, somewhere built and shipped this concept.

Working on custom character imports for Pawperty Damage! (Finally, I know.)

Currently in the process of making sure any standard humanoid character will work with the game, so I'm using some free character models from the asset store to test it out... It's starting to look good, but there's still lots to do!

The prompt for this one was to make them look like a Kirby character so I inspired myself a bit from Dyna Blade and their refsheet, but kept the feathers rounder to be more friendly looking like most of Kirby's animal friends

My favorite part of making this one was the flowers that rest on the vines on their head
