The temptation has been there to do super ostentatious edits and start over from scratch, but nah. Need to value keeping things current and making small adjustments over time.

This is weirdly informed by just adding stuff to my character in FFXIV. I've been whittling on the same character look for over 10y, so why not single avatars too.

Doing minor adjustments on an older avatar project ahead of Furality.

Decided instead of doing a whole new model, I'd revisit with a blendshape similar to what folks modding avatar bases do. Added a bit more volume and fixed some of the flatness of the original version.

Charlie and some of the downstream replies state my fear on this better than I can.

Both of our political parties in the US are allowing/perpetuating a humanitarian crisis that needs to end yesterday. But only one of them we can actually fight past November; the other will kill protests and protestors dead with impunity, along with a whole lot of the rest of us.

I wish this were better. It isn't yet. Vote when and if you can, please.

Sierra On-Line accidentally included the source code to their AGI adventure game engine on some copies of Space Quest II. Its presence is not obvious but with enough sector sleuthing it is possible to recover about 70% of it. The recovered source code is peppered with illuminating comments regarding its history and authors. It can be examined in a GitHub repo linked in the article.
