Ever noticed how most planets in Dune are total crap?
Giedi Prime is Detroit/Pittsburgh, Salusa Secundus is a hellworld, Arrakis is a hellworld nobody would even visit willingly if it didn't have REALLY AWESOME WEED, Kaitain is a standard Foundation/Necromunda/Coruscant we-paved-everything-over capital, Ix and they sound pretty awful.
And then you have Caladan and it's basically Seattle. There's oceans and it rains all the time. GEE WONDER WHAT THE GOOD GUY PLANET IS?
tfw a rp event happens on another server and it affects the multiverse (say, a propagating wave). You work on leading characters [on another server] to a certain place. Halfway through finishing a message, you then realize that you had the wrong idea about how it propagated so you pretty much lead them to a dead end.

For the first time, I fired up gimp to work on something while having no experience at all with art. I'm not happy with what I have so far and I'll never be happy with it. I feel like I'm setting impossible standards for myself.
I'm super bad at digital art (and I have no faith in my drawing skills), but this .xcf file is tempting me... tomorrow because fuck today.
