If I didn't get the tree, I'd miss the cute cat and burning a bit of my hand on hot chocolate spilling a bit.

And now my mind is continuing towards the thought of Christmas trees. Picking out a tree and decorating it is both cool and... weird. I would prefer not cutting down trees for that. The university I go to reuses one tree year after year, and I like that idea better than throwing them away.

Now I'm older, I don't really like the term "best friends", because I guess that implies that one friend is better than the other, and friendship shouldn't have that characteristic.

I can definitely get behind what these signs say as I walk to finals. It's the first time I've seen "Pay attention to what you see, feel, and sense around you. Meditate to class" being advocated and I find that pretty smart. As if it's designed to keep people calm.
