I've just been doing some quickie researching and it turns out that Honda just upgrades their regular car motors to be water resistant and then shoves them in outboard motors and sells them. So I guess if you really wanted a non Type-R crate motor from Honda the closest you could get is just buying an outboard motor and yanking the engine out
