Food
It's both a tragedy and a good thing that I can't make icing roses because I want to eat some right this moment. A tragedy because I can't, a good thing because my fat ass would make 20 and eat most of them (or at least as many as I could before I felt the need to throw up from eating basically nothing but greasy sugar flowers)

Holy shit I don't know what it is about dogs barking specifically but I just can't fucking handle constant barking around me. Like other loud noises I can handle to a point, but when dogs start barking (especially at me, friendly or not) it's really fucking grating. Like just want to throw shit and scream grating.
New Year's Resolutions, pandemic mention
My only resolution for this year is the same as last year. Just.. try and survive another year. People sure as hell are making that as difficult as possible with their irresponsible behavior during a pandemic though >:C BUT I managed to make it through 2 years of this (without being symptomatic at least) and am still alive, so I've still got that going for me at least. Hopefully I can keep this up another year!
FNAF, problematic game designers
I'm seeing so many people over on Twitter going bananas over the new Five Nights at Freddy game, and though the game certainly looks interesting, I'm still just sitting here wondering... when did everyone forget that Scott Cawthon openly admitted to donating to very openly problematic political candidates who (tried, if not succeeded, to) undo basic human rights for literally anyone that isn't a white wealthy CIS male?
Why is it game designers/producers/publishers can prove themselves to be not good people, yet as soon as the newest game comes out people just forget those kinds of details and go nuts over the game they were involved in?
It's like Chic-Fil-A to me. Sure the chicken may or may not be amazing, or in this case the game may or may not be amazing, but it's still owned/run/designed/produced by people actively giving money to groups/organizations/politicians who are trying to ruin the LGBTQIA+ communities. So why are so many people getting really into it?
Holy shit car radios are a major pain in the ass to install, especially ones with disc players. There's BARELY enough room for the wiring harness in the one I just installed, and I'm going to have to pull it out later to make another connection to the parking brake sensor later. I just wanted to get it installed and running for now, even if a couple features are locked out until that wire is run.
Dreams
It got weirder when I discovered one of the upper levels was occupied, but it was only because I had Super Mario games in the house, and their continued existence relied on my having those games in the house. Luckily for them they didn't have to worry because I will always have Super Mario games in my possession!
Dreams
There was one room that was completely barren with a rotted out hole in the floor, that opened up to another room with a rotted out hole, that led to another with another hole, that appeared to go on for like 5-6 floors, maybe more. The holes were offset from each other. Which is weird because I'm sure I was only on the third floor at most. But dreams are weird.
Dreams
Last time it led to a sort of loft that could be seen from another stairway to the house behind some vertical slats, and also a mechanical section that housed the heating and telephone/cable incoming lines. This morning it led to a whole new floor with several furnished but obviously abandoned and forgotten rooms. Some of the rooms were just full of things like a previous owner had just up and left in a huge hurry before the entire floor was blocked off. It was very strange.
Dreams
So had a dream this morning that involved a house that sort of has made multiple appearances in my dreams. The house itself isn't based off any house I've experienced in the waking world, and the appearance changes from dream to dream it seems, but it always seems to have one specific similarity; behind the panels of an external wall in the kitchen is a staircase that leads to an area of the house normally inaccessible from the rest of the house.
my art (2017, furry, soft but lewd)

It does the absolute bare minimum of what I require at least so it will suffice for now, but I guarantee you once I have a proper home network set up this thing is getting rooted and an open source firmware installed in it. Fuck this thing. I can't turn the wifi on or off, I can't hide the SSID, I can't QoS the ports themselves, I can't even change the channels any of the wifi networks run on.
I hate this fucking thing with the fury of a thousand collapsars colliding. I get Linksys wants to keep their devices accessible to anyone that can plug a thing into another thing but they cut out so many of the really advanced features that I'm so used to dealing with as a home network administrator. I've set up my own home network for decades and it really pisses me off that I have almost zero control over how this device works.
Got a router so I can have more than just my PC direct wired to the DSL modem. Now I just need to figure out where underneath the desk to mount it to, where it'll be out of the way but close to the PC's ethernet port (and still be accessible in the event I need to do a hard reset.) At least I still have those heavy duty dual lock fasteners (like Velcro, but plastic nubs that lock into each other kind instead of the hook and loop method. Very strong stuff!) so I can literally put it underdesk
Couldn't find it, ready to strangle myself with the cable. BUT it's finally connected and I do NOT want to try using anything other than punch down terminals for riser cable ever again >:C Now I won't have to worry about heavy interference from wifi signals interrupting my Discord calls and Mario Party games. Just have to worry about Nintendo's online network being a total POS and dropping me instead :P
May just say fuck it and use that punch down connector I have somewhere. Solid twisted strand is a pain to get perfectly straight and arranged.
