I have got a wicked headache. But I guess bashing your head on a steel bar will do that

Thankfully they were able to glue it shut, no stitches required! Probably going to be popping quite a few tylenol when I get home though

Also waiting on a drug screening because on the job injury that requires treatment demands it. No big deal. I just hate the having to wait to pee in a cup on a full bladder

Welp, this is apparently what happens when you're driving a forklift and the forklift stops suddenly but you don't. (fork caught in something and stopped moving.)

Wound up hitting my forehead on a soft metal edge and split the skin about 1.5-2 inches wide. Currently waiting to see if they can glue it shut instead of stitch it. Thankfully concussion does not seem to be a concern.

Ran my first Insanity Entrance seed for A Link to the Past Randomizer. Was a lot of fun! Haven't quite finished it because I'm still waiting on a specific item to beat the game, but there's still a week or so left. It was an interesting experience though, and not quite as difficult as I expected it to be once I figured out how to take notes on that (which is INSANELY important because of how entrances and exits work in this mode)

The dangers of running a dragon daycare. Your lap is very comfortable, and your schedule not important :P

Realizing you may have made a terrible mistake as the imposingly large ferocious looking dragon approaches your sitting form, and settles itself down on your lap for a nap. Now you're going to have to reschedule that appointment in an hour, because this heavy fucker isn't going to budge until dinner time.

A synth that sets it's voice synthesizer to modulated electrical signals as a joke, but forgot the command to change it back to something organics can understand

Sometimes it feels like I'm right on the cusp of a mindblowing breakthrough. Like I just need the tiniest of sparks, the gentlest of nudges, to reach whatever it is out there. Something BIG.

And then I space out and completely forget the last 5 seconds, wondering what the hell it was I sat down to do in the first place.

Less than 2 weeks remaining for Americans to vote! If you haven't registered to vote and legally can vote, then make sure you register now if it's not too late! If it is, check to see if you can register same day just in case! If you have registered to vote, then vote! Vote early if you can; some places allow you to vote at your local municipal clerk's office or similar. You may still have time to request an absentee ballot as well, do that right now if so! Do whatever it takes to make sure you get your vote in for this election. I know the choices are terrible, but we absolutely cannot have 4 more years of this administration running the country and our health into the ground.

In an alternate universe, Kilroy was a rather infamous jewel thief, operating under the pseudonym Houdini! He scopes out potential targets during the day, then after hours he'll cover up his body and eyes, use his unheard-of abilities to teleport into areas without surveillance or normal points of entry like a bathroom or utility closet, nab the shiny, retreat back to his point of entry, and teleport out! His telekinetic ability allows him to manipulate objects without touching them!

It took a long time for anyone to figure out how he does it. He did eventually get caught (and arrested, though it took them 3 attempts before they got smart and kept him heavily sedated to keep him from teleporting away. He still managed to escape from his cell when someone forgot to keep him sedated a few months later.) To this day though, nobody knows where he keeps his collection of jewels; they remain quite hidden deep in a section of cave with its only entry point long since buried under 15 tons of rocks. It is now only accessible via teleportation

Naptime for firelizards! ...yes I call 8 hours of sleep a nap. Because it sure as heck doesn't leave me feeling fully refreshed lately :P
