I just spent the last 35 minutes trying to remember my iPhone backup encryption password because it turns out I have to know the existing password to start a new backup, and by some miracle I figured it out. Changing it and adding it to my password manager now, brb
@green Dashlane, which is not perfect but it's better than sticky notes in a wallet. I assume that everything on the Internet is terrible and will eventually be compromised so someday I will have to change all 379 passwords but frankly I'm screwed anyway because my data is already out due to Equifax, Anthem (twice), Target, PSN, T-Mobile, GameStop, Wells Fargo... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@Kistaro *nodnod* thanks, I will check into it. and yeah... I've been using a new password standard that I think is pretty secure, but... well, yeah. :|
@Kistaro what password manager do you use? I have one that's... less than optimally secure, and I'm interested in finding one that's better, especially if it's relatively easy to use.
