Dammit, the wildfire smoke isn’t done yet. PNW folks, keep watching air quality reports,and go outside and exercise whenever you safely can - that’s going to mean two mile walks in the middle of TI8 in yellow/orange air quality, for me. Time to dig up a phone app for indoor no-equipment limited-space workouts so I don’t spend another week inactive, it’s not good for me.

I bought an extra air cleaner for my living room and now it’s very loud in here but we could all breathe better in minutes. I have been spending days in my bedroom because it was the room with the cleanest air, being less imprisoned is nice. I hope the forecast that the smoke will clear soon turns out to be correct

18 years ago, I helped save Halloween for over a thousand poor kids.
I only just realized now that this is a literally correct interpretation of that time the science museum I volunteered at put out a call for extra help for preparing "goodie bags" for the trick-or-treat event, and nobody but my parents and I showed up. So we were literally the only reason over a thousand poor kids who went to the Science Center because their own neighborhoods weren't safe were able to get candy.
