@amorphophalex gotta be Strawberry Cubes, haunting world, dreamlike glitchy gameplay, still the best of the best https://lorenschmidt.itch.io/strawberrycubes
Henri Poincare was the first to understand the terrible thing Weierstrass had done. He called it "an outrage against common sense.”
Somehow, Weierstrass had stitched together a pathological function made out of pointed teeth and sharp corners, and brought it to life.
"Weierstrass's Monster," as Poincare called it, is a function that is [lightning flashes outside the window] everywhere continuous but nowhere differentiable [huge crash of thunder].
@irenes lol good, sarazanmai is our favorite ikuhara (sorry utena fans) and one of our fav anime overall, good connection (hehehe)
@foone Jeff didn't add a pic of kuroneko, shit taste confirmed u.u
Old web aficionados, do I have a website for you:
http://logiclrd.cx/
This one from Logic Lord (copyright 1997) has all the hallmarks of the old web but the important thing is this astounding paragraph on the front page:
"This homepage used to be hosted on my own WWW server called mIRC-WWW. The server is programmed entirely in mIRC code, supports binary files, and partially supports CGIs. A screenshot is available here. The script makes use of the advanced features of mIRC v5.8, which adds, starting with version 5.3, over the previous version with picture windows, custom sockets, millisecond timers, and much more. Version 5.5 also adds support for user dialogs, so now you can create forms like you can with Visual Basic or VC++'s resource editor."
A whole-ass web server written in an #IRC client. There's even a screenshot of it in action. Just incredible stuff. I'm so glad this is still online.
@mcc like most pornography it is more interested in titillating the existing fans of its genre than evangelizing the neural-to-repulsed observer
@Xkeeper nooOOOOO =_= I don't know if you've ever used Matrix but the different clients having major disagreements about formatting is one of my bigger gripes with it lmao >.<;;! esPECIALLY strikethrough for some reason...
@Xkeeper yeah hehe x3 there's a hotkey for it at least and it'll apply it to text you have selected etc., but I feel you, markdown is not the greatest x3;;; all the implementations with their fun subtle differences LOL >w>!!!! maybe someday I'll learn emacs so I can use orgmode like the cool kids 😁
@Xkeeper yeah I don't know anyone that pays for obsidian sync, they all just use syncthing or rsync or whatever, totally unneeded
@Xkeeper reasonably nice if you can stand writing in markdown, the default color theme is purple which is cool. wiki-style links... some people prefer the open source alternative, logseq, but they seem fairly similar
saw some very beautiful mushrooms today that we think might be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lingzhi_(mushroom) ^.^

@Xkeeper the main one I remember is the secret extra zoomed in zoom level if you click the bar below the advertised highest zoom level, cute program :3
