* we sabotaged any chance of a lasting peace in Israel
* we had a couple of school shootings
* congress barely blocked an outrageous attempt to make the country shittier
* our policy towards illegal immigrants got that much nastier
* Republicans said some egregious shit, topped off by 45 being unusually racist even by 45 standards
I have this gut feeling sometime later this summer there's gonna be a day which'll be completely over the top ridiculous about this bullshit.

Like the single day's gonna have about four or five things which are completely horrible; like the morning will start with Pence golfing with Klansmen, there'll be a shooting where the police plug everyone Black instead of the shooter, the entire EPA will be privatized, 45 will straight up say he was bought off in 2016, by evening we'll launch a special operations attack with lots of collateral casualties somewhere like Sweden, and we'll be expected to think this is somehow okay.
