@mawr it’s hard not to go all ranty about the prison industrial complex linked to everything else, that at some point there’s just no return for good behavior and people are going to stop bothering with nonviolence, at which point the fucking SS - I mean the police sorry- get off on beating heads, the collaborationist media gets to be all sanctimonious, and the rich assfucks get more slave labor out of the deal...

@mawr it’s just so weird working on my issues and having paradigm shifts about “the world is nuanced, I’m actually not a terrible person, and flexibility and compassion are the most pragmatic approaches to the situation” AND being driven deeper into “these are enemies, they will never be anything else, and they can’t understand anything subtler than violence which isn’t practicable, so avoid if possible.”
Lucky I got to do some work on my issues during Obama.
