Outside of anthropogenic climate change, environmental concerns are through what I too consider necessity, bumped from priority to fifth rate issues by constant vicious class warfare and bigoted horrors.
If you fight a war on multiple fronts you’re bound to lose somewhere, and biodiversity or conservation are real low priorities, it feels like talking about them is almost privilege. How much will be gone forever by the time there’s resources to look that way again?
