Maybe I am too cynical but I worry that something this big and gross is an attempt to pull attention from something subtler - like are they revamping the entire tax structure again or pushing through their "anti-Antifa" bill or what? or are they actually this confident that whatever they say we'll have to swallow it?

@Leucrotta I'm convinced Trump thinks he's playing everybody by sucking up to political enemies to gain favor and abusing allies to force them into giving him what he wants.
Like he thinks he's manipulating people, but he really just doesn't understand foreign policy.
