I really wish my meatspace social life included;
* more people to draw with, regardless of skill level.
* wishing I had a fursuit, which probably gets into "wishing I lived in an efficiency" levels of inaccessible
* presenting female, because I think it'd help work out gender stuff regardless of where I wind up
All these I think might have to wait for after I leave this area for hopefully a more friend-filled one.
fursuit construction
@porsupah thanks! Unfortunately, 3D printers are out of my price range, and right now I don’t have the money for foam/fake fur/hot knives, the space to work on big projects (that’s part of why I draw; it’s compact and doesn’t need ventilation), or the emotional resources to mess up repeatedly on a big hobby while puzzling it out. *Currently* “make my own fursuit head, tail and gloves” is about as out of reach as buying a nice one.

@Leucrotta 3D printing I was thinking of as a collaboration, or using one at some makerspace.
Yep, it adds up - the fur's obviously the essential, with whatever else not being too costly, like a basic balaclava, or that plastic mesh used in some handicrafts.
It's certainly a commitment, and a purely optional one - just, as and when you're able, it's not impossible. *hug*
