more of what I was blathering about;

see I figure that anyone selling stuff just needs to pitch to the biggest number of people to buy product. If it's like 20-40% of humanity you're going to make enough to cover distribution costs, etc. Within that 20-40% there's a lot of variation ("we don't care what you think about parenthood, sports or sex, but we bet we can sell you Caribbean vacation as a concept").

Even though that's billions of people it's still a fairly small fraction of humanity.

So a lot of people like TV and sports. A lot of people actually like conforming to their assigned gender. A lot of people want kids. A lot of people are straights. A lot of people are right-leaning-moderates. MUCH fewer people are actually gender conforming and straight and right-leaning-moderates who want kids and like TV and sports?

But this 25% is so is made out to seem like 98% of everyone, and it feels worse when you're a kid and not conforming is hours of isolation and persecution. Years.

Far more people are societaly "normal" in some ways ("I like hanging out in Starbucks"), objectively but not culturally acknowledged normal in some ways ("I have terrible anxiety"), and outliers in others ("Also, I draw as my big hobby").

What I'm about to suggest is that you should let your freak flag fly *because it was never actually freaky*. The only reason not to be full on kigurumi-wearin'-furry-Gay-leftist-whatever, is playing normie to keep your day job.
