@Leucrotta Oh man internet advertising was EVERYWHERE in the 90's, all animated and jumping around and popups all over the place, huge and colourful and wild and often annoying and garish and I remember there being WAY more of it.
But it was all for random stuff that you may or may not care about! It didn't bloody track you so it could show you a hairdryer you just bought!
I remember spyware, and having anti-spyware software, and people being worried about spyware. Now spying is default. :(
