So I tried to get a Covid booster shot and walk ins aren’t okay so I set up a January 27th appointment. The whole deal brings a batch of negative messages crashing home in my tiny brain, and I’m trying to walk myself back from that.
@LexYeen thanks, it’s just hitting the “we have basically made it so you have to do this, we’ve also made it frustrating and difficult to do this, and failing to do it is your fault” buttons. If that makes sense? I know that’s not what’s actually going on but that’s still an initial trained reaction.

@Leucrotta California is deploying fucking billboards telling you to get your booster shot but I have yet to find a place that will let me get one. Even my $900/mo premium Healthcare provider tells me I don't qualify at this time.
@Earthshine @Leucrotta ah, as joined up as that time BART was advertising free rides to vaccination in the coliseum, only for the state to then make the venue drive-through only.
