Gotta say my boss 1) suddenly wfh from the opposite side of the state causing communication difficulties and 2) spending a week in the Carribean on vacation, made me no end of resentful.

@DrSagan We are a small branch of the Portland office. My boss moved to Vancouver a couple of weeks ago, and is running the place remotely, which frankly I think is a shitty idea leading to mistakes like stuff that happened today (can explain more if need be); it was announced three weeks ago. While I feel he does work hard and deserves something like a vacation in the Carribean, it meant he was out of touch last week and that was a terrible experience.
@DrSagan Also I have serious personal baggage about people being on vacation beyond the usual, thanks to my parents' constant vacations off into wherever during *years* of me not doing great financially.
