stretched the leftover okra soup by adding leftover pasta sauce, some paprika and coriander, water, beef broth. Pretty okay but wound up adding dill to round it out. I have beet fennel soup going on the stove (slight change from recipe) and am making rice so I can make spam and fried egg sandwiches soon.

Possibly actually *enjoying* cooking has made me more aware of just how much I'm influenced by trying to use up stuff me-two-weeks-ago thought would be nice to have in the fridge.
