Though there was a slight hitch making cucumber salad with fake sour cream , so I'll know for next time - fat content means the real stuff is ready to go right out of the fridge, and initially (the fridge is on the colder side) I was having the hardest time mixing the fake stuff in.
@Leucrotta I randomly decided to put a big spoonful of sour cream on some sauerkraut and have it on pita chips for breakfast. A+, tastes like brine, acidity, and crunch, held together and moderated a little by the cream. (You might try using mayo or something? Unsure.)
