Actually, here's a question for the paleontology/paleoart minded;
the counterpart to the "dromaeosaurs with slit pupils," I really like illustrating thyreophorans and ceratopsians with horizontal pupils. But given that dinosaurs had sclerotic rings is that anatomically possible?
@Leucrotta however! birds almost all have round pupils, with one exception, the skimmer family (genus Rynchops)
@Leucrotta generally animals with slit pupils are ambush predators I guess so it would not be a stretch to imagine dromaeosaurids might have had them
